Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1978.
State Bar of Texas American Board of Trial Advocates - Diplomat Admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and various State and Federal courts.
Tommy married Linda Russell while they were attending Baylor. He earned a baseball scholarship, was Captain of the Bears’ baseball team, and an All-Conference outfielder in 1962. Tommy worked the last year of law school as a law clerk for the prestigious Waco law firm of Jones, Boyd, Westbrook & Lovelace. He was selected to write for the Baylor Law Review and immediately after law school began his career with Max Garrett in Houston.
Tommy and Linda have two children, Lisa and Roy. Roy is married to Amanda Christian of Houston, Texas. Tommy has served his community and church in various capacities, and coached youth baseball.
