Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1978.
State Bar of Texas American Board of Trial Advocates - Diplomat Association of Trial Lawyers of America Houston Trial Lawyers Association Houston Bar Association Admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and various State and Federal courts.
Tom married Linda Russell while they were attending Baylor. He earned a baseball scholarship, was Captain of the Bears’ baseball team, and an All-Conference outfielder in 1962. Tom worked the last year of law school as a law clerk for the prestigious Waco law firm of Jones, Boyd, Westbrook & Lovelace. He was selected to write for the Baylor Law Review and immediately after law school began his career with Max Garrett in Houston
Tom and Linda have two children, Lisa and Roy. Roy is married to Amanda Christian of Houston, Texas. Tom has served his community and church in various capacities, and coached youth baseball.
